Position Summary: Manual Osteopathic Practitioner

Our goal is to support our practitioners in reaching both their personal and professional milestones. As a valued member of our healthcare team, you’ll be provided the tools, mentorship and environment to thrive. Core Responsibilities

1. Patient History Intake

Gather comprehensive patient histories including information about general health, lifestyle choices, dietary habits and any current or past symptoms.

2. Posture & Physical Examination

Perform physical assessments focusing on posture, muscular tension, joint mobility and spinal alignment through manual palpation techniques.

3. Therapeutic Treatment Delivery

Apply hands-on osteopathic methods using a blend of gentle manipulations, mobilization of joints, stretching techniques and customized osteopathic manual therapies to address patient needs.

4. Treatment Planning & Health Coaching

Collaboratively design individual treatment plans. Offer patients personalized recommendations that align with their physical therapy goals, nutritional needs and overall wellness improvement strategies.

5. Patient Advocacy & Coordination
Liaise with ICBC (Insurance Corporation of British Columbia), private insurance providers and fellow healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive care.

6. Accurate Record-Keeping

Maintain meticulous, up-to-date patient files using our integrated electronic medical records (EMR) system. Respond promptly to patient and insurer inquiries by providing chart notes and relevant documentation.

7. Collaborative Practice

Partner with an interdisciplinary team of chiropractors, physiotherapists, acupuncturists, kinesiologists and massage therapists to provide integrative care and ensure patients receive the highest quality outcomes.
